At JPMA, craftsmanship is at the core of everything we do — and the foundation of great craftsmanship is in the preparation. As a Sander, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our furniture and fixtures are flawlessly prepped for their final finish.

Responsibilities:

• Sand wooden surfaces using an orbital sander or by hand to ensure smooth, consistent texture.
• Strip old varnish and prepare surfaces for re-finishing.
• Use pore fillers to level grooves and correct imperfections.
• Apply the appropriate varnish to stripped wood when needed.
• Carry out minor touch-ups and repairs to preserve the integrity of each piece.
• Collaborate with the finishing and production teams to meet project timelines.
• Support other related tasks within the finishing department.
